Seit ein paar Jahren ist es wieder möglich mit dem Zug direkt von Wien bis Triest zu reisen. Hierbei werden die drei ÖBB-Wagons des EC 151 "Emona" ab Ljubljana als EC 134 bis Triest weitergeführt. Die SŽ 342 024-1 wartet hier am 01.08.2024 mit dem EC 134 [(Wien Hbf ->) Ljubljana -> Sežana -> Trieste C.le] in Ljubljana auf die Abfahrt. Im Hintergrund zu erkennen sind noch die drei bereits abgekuppelten SŽ-Wagons, welche in Ljubljana verbleiben und wieder dem Gegenzug nach Wien beigegeben werden.
SS23 AAA is a Mercedes-Benz Tourismo new to AAA Coaches of Kirknewton in March 2023.
It is seen here in Edinburgh on a hire following bodywork attention.
Do you call this guy brave or just nuts, he was the only surfer I saw all day… to his credit he did catch some large monsters.

We also stopped by the AAA yard and one of the owners was nice enough to let us take a look around. Very cool Amreps riding atop 1990 Peterbilt 310s and 2000 Volvo Xpeditor Chassis. Notice the horizontal ribs, one of my favorite features on the older Amrep bodies. The WhiteGMC Road Commander was also a treat to see. Unfortunately, all of the trucks in the yard are spares.
