No, really. What am I supposed to pick up?

Attendees play The Metagame at the first ever Games for Change Festival Board Game Night was a night of fun, schmoozing and socializing at The Uncommons Cafe, curated by the game experts at Babycastles. Attendees were able to buy a drink or a cup of coffee, meet a friend or make some new friends, and play a select group of the best social impact board games out there – which happen to also be among the best new games around.

The Metagame, which had only recently been commercially released to great reviews; Consentacle, which was a hit at No Quarter in an earlier version; and two new games from the great design minds at Tiltfactor (Mary Flanagan) and Antidote Games (Mohini Freya Dutta and Ben Norskov): Awkward Moment at Work and Howzat, Umpire? made for a great night.

Sarah entertained us with her inability to play those darned video games, especially Zelda.

Zelda fans will recognize this piece as the Tri Force symbol from the game. This was very challenging to go from pattern to glass. But I am very pleased with how it turned out. This is a larger piece and will go well in a window with natural light or in a room with lamp light. I have chosen an iridescent, water glass for reflection and depth. This Tri Force will make an excellent gift for that Zelda gamer in your life or for yourself.

As with all my pieces I have used the copper foil and lead solder method of stained glass creation. I have framed this piece with 50/50 solder for strength and stability. I include a single link chain for hanging. I suggest that you do not use a window suction cup as it will not hold the weight of this particular piece. I would be pleased to create this beautiful piece for you. Each piece that I make is just a bit different making yours unique.
