this picture shows unity because the window frames the bodies together. also the color scheme shows simplicity and all goes together. the natural light and natural look correspond.
CU Assignment: Unity
Well, I just took this picture 2 days ago before I realized I could use it for this assignment. I would have liked to come up with something with better light!!... That said, when I was reviewing what I got this last weekend, this one said "unity" to me. I have been missing my husband as he is a California Fire Captain... so he's been gone for the most part since June. We were so blessed to have him home for four days last weekend, as our unit works best when he's with us.
I love you Honey.
Unity!! I was pleasantly surprised when I showed this photo to Mr. Schwab for something else, and he told me it was a great example of unity. I just really liked the concept, and it was a more of in the moment shot than planned, and it only required editing not reshooting. This is definitely one of my favorite breadth because it is an example of unity and adds diversity to my portfolio.
The Maryland Military Department celebrated Unity Day, an event designed to enhance cross-cultural awareness and promote harmony, May 22, 2014, at the Fifth Regiment Armory in Baltimore. Unity Day included displays, artifacts, games/activities, food samples from the different groups as well as live music and dancing. This year's theme was celebrating women. (Photo by Staff Sgt. This is beautiful, the first main road connecting Tanzania and Mozambique across the Ruvuma River which has no similar crossing anywhere else on this border which is hundreds of kilometres long.
Andrew Geoghegan Platinum and 18ct Golds Unity Inserts with Diamond, Blue, Yellow and Pink Sapphires. Originally developed for the Unity rings, these are eminently wearable in their own right, alongside other rings from my collection or with other Unity inserts. When the colours are mixed, a contrasting and refreshing style is achieved.

Luminar Leisure Ltd was granted a licence to open the 'Oceana' nightclub in 2006, which involved converting Unity House into the venue.
There were concerns, however, from the police that it might increase crime, anti-social behaviour and noise in the city centre.
In April 2008, the plans for this 2,000-capacity superclub in Wakefield have failed in the High Court.
Unity House was formerly the headquarters of the 'Wakefield Industrial Co-Operative Society'. Some twenty years after this building was built co-op became a household name!
Meagher County. View toward the Springdale Hutterite Colony and the foothills of the Big Belt Mountains from the Ramspeck Road, southwest of White Sulphur Springs. Unity was once located just to the west of what is now the Springdale Colony, which was founded in 1959. A post office opened at Unity in 1880 (June 4) with Charles Cook as postmaster. It was closed in 1912 (December 15).
Well,it's true that I worked a lot in Lightroom 2.0 for this image...mainly with exposure...I thought it is better to share this version.
At least this image expresses something....which I couldn't find in main version.
In an effort to bring people together, a group of L&C students marched across campus April 4 in an International March for Unity.
"In 1890, the first bridge across Fall Creek was constructed by Nels Roney. That 129-foot Howe structure cost Lane County $2,925.
The original bridge was finally removed in 1953, having served as a foot bridge since 1936. A new covered span was built three-fourths of a mile upstream in 1936 at the community of Unity.
The county used a standardized 90-foot Howe truss design but added a full length window in the east side to give motorists a glimpse of oncoming traffic, adding an aesthetic effect to the structure. The county spent only $4,400 in constructing the span.
In July 1986, Lane County temporarily closed the bridge for repairs. In addition to replacing the flooring, other work included repair of the piers and guardrails, exterior painting, and removing evidence of vandalism.
The bridge crosses Fall Creek just a few miles from the Pengra, Lowell and Parvin covered bridges.
Bicycle tours often include this span in their rural routes."
A Jewish cantor and a Christian singer-composer got together, backed by a lively Gospel choir, to create unity behind their respective faiths - and unity among people everywhere. They produced a beautiful cover of the Simon & Garfunkel classic, "Bridge over Troubled Water." Please stay safe!
"Those who live for one another learn that love is the bond of perfect unity." --Fools Crow, LAKOTA
To serve each other, to respect each other, to trust each other, to honor each other, to love each other, to cooperate with each other, to care for each other, to forgive one another, to focus on peoples' good, to laugh with one another, to learn from one another, to pray for each other; these are all acts of love. These values and actions will connect us to one another in the Unseen World. Nature is a good example of how we should get along with one another. Watch nature. She is our teacher. Nature lives to give to one another. The insects give to the birds, who give to the four legged, who give to the two legged. The Creator made all things perfect. Oh Great Spirit, let me serve the people today. Let me see that it is better to give than it is to receive. Be with me today.

Picking up the pieces
Of a life that I once knew
What will tomorrow bring
Gray skies all around me
I don't know where to turn
Can you help me with this pain
A shooting star
A ray of light
A breeze that calms me in the night
I got your message yesterday
I feel you here
I wish that you could
Stay with me
Two hearts forever
You were the spark that lit the flame
Only if you'd
Stay with me
This love's forever
And in my heart you will remain
Until we meet again
Sitting in the cold room
Waiting for the sun
Will it ever shine again
Pictures frames
The better days
Are swirling in my head
Will I ever find a way
A shooting star
A ray of light
A breeze that calms me in the night
I got your message yesterday
I feel you here
I wish that you could
Stay with me
Two hearts forever
You were the spark that lit the flame
Only if you'd
Stay with me
This love's forever
And in my heart you will remain
Until we meet again
I got your message yesterday
I feel you here
I wish that you could
Stay with me
Two hearts forever
You were the spark that lit the flame
Only if you'd
Stay with me
This love's forever
And in my heart you will remain
Until we meet again
You've gotta slow down
Just slow down
You've gotta slow down
Just slow down
