one of the series of takes i took where it began with this man walking towards his boat to fish as his dog tried to go along with him. this is the third px with the dog swimming towards his master while his master tried to shoo his dog back to shore. it took about five minutes before the dog reluctantly returned to the shore. what an example of unquestionable loyalty!
Director's Remote Video Monitor: allows the director to be away from the camera and the Director of Photography and yet able to see the actual shot through a the DOP's camera. The carrier is a army bag that costs $12. The LCD video screen costs $125 and a 3000mAH sealed lead acid battery provided all the power needed. The RCA video in cable is 3m long. Extremely portable and rugged. It lasted 2 years of heavy use.

Feeding time for the young calf. I found their color difference one of them most interesting aspects of this photo. Taken in Woodbury, Minnesota – Fuji FinePix S3Pro. Single raw file tonemapped several different styles in Photomatix, then blended in PS. Textures by kerstin_frank_art and rubyblossom added and blended in multiple layers in PS CS4.
