Dead and dying tree stump at Elm Bank in Natick, MA. Perhaps an elm? This was taken an sunset on January 31, 2008

I would risk to say that this photograph works like a postcard. The white and blue mixed together make the sky look like a painting. Then the green hill seems to be climbing up to the sky and the trees, so big, look like a really ancient couple. This reminds me of old wise couples, who always seem very gentle, very calm and very cozy. This makes me feel like sitting on all that green, under those trees to rest and relax.
