what are these called? would somebody please tell me? they can't just be salt and pepper shakers~ there has to be a special name for these retro looking babies!!

i would love to be able to spread those on my dinner table.

Made by Corning in the late 1930s-1940s as part of their Cremax tableware line. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
