Hong Kong, Victoria Harbour from the Star Ferry.
The Star Ferry (Chinese: 天星小輪) is a passenger ferry service operator across Victoria Harbour, between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. The service is operated by the Star Ferry Company, which was founded in 1888 as the Kowloon Ferry Company, and which adopted its present name in 1898. It is a major tourist attraction, with great views of the skyline.
Also known as the Torx drive. These are various sizes of torx drives from T15 up to T40. Shot for Macro Mondays "Stars" theme.

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a red day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Macro Mondays is star.
Whenever you see a shooting star, sailing on the sky, dont hesitate ! Make a wish very quickly !! Of course, if you can catch the star it is even better: you will have endless wishes for as long as you keep your shooting star safe… Those shooting stars are very, very rare and fast so you will be extremely lucky if you catch one… But wouldn’t that be awesome to have your own shooting star ? Keep your eyes on the sky my friends !
FYI : my star is about 1,5cm wide.
While you think about the possibility of owning your own star, I have to grab a coffee just before my video meeting !! See you soon my friends !
Mucho, mucho amor for you all !!
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!!
Morning Glory flower up close, taken late morning in Port Elliot during our road trip to South Australia.
I like this optical illusion, the tubular section of the flower appears more like a solid round object rather than a hollow tube.
Many thanks for your visit, comments, invites and faves...it is always appreciated..

A processed IR image of the Ferris wheel entrance. The City Star is the largest mobile Ferris wheel in the world.
Another variation of the unit and 'Star-Flower', I uploaded yesterday (see first comment box).
Each of these red-white origami Star-Flowers is made out of 8 units, but arranged differently.
The size of one unit is now 4x4cm, red kami paper.
Final size star is 9x9cm.
I really don't know anymore on what occasion I folded it and if there are any diagrams. Sorry for that.
A star magnolia, that is :)
I posted this one as a bud just over a week ago, and here it's bursting and ready to open totally. Once they bloom, they seem to turn brown within a day and are gone. Luckily, this bush is in my neighbour's yard, so I didn't have to go far to shoot it.
The adult males are difficult to find. During the migration they are the first to leave on their road South. I felt fortunate to catch this one zipping around the backyard the last of August.
Star3…. The Macro Monday’s theme for 10/4 is star. This is the central cut out star in a metal star ornament. This cut-out is one and three quarters inches across. The background color/bokeh is a tie dyed t- shirt.
Love love love the context shot which is next in the photostream and I’ll put it in the first comment box in a couple of minutes.
ZELEK STAR dragged anchor at Ashdod Anchorage, Israel, at night Dec 25, in strong wind, and drifted aground in the morning Dec 26, resting on beach near port breakwater.

The star in this is on a bracelet of mine which I hung over a sparkly star motive on a sweater. Size of the star on my bracelet is 0.5 cm. HMM! I also did another version of this yesterday but wasn't sure that it conformed to the size requirements (in Comments)
Nachdem der Star sich ausgiebig geputzt hatte, erfolgte ein kräftiges Schütteln, dass diese wunderbare Frisur zum Vorschein brachte.Euch allen einen schönen Sonntag.
Chinese star anise, or star anise, is the fruit of the Chinese badian (Illicium verum), used as a spice in cooking and for herbal teas for its anise flavor. The fruit is composed of a woody polyfollicle with eight carpels each containing a shiny seed. It thus forms a very characteristic eight-pointed star, hence the vernacular name of star anise. The fruits are picked green, before being dried in the sun, where they take a reddish brown color.

There was no way I was going to break into my Christmas box already!
Thank goodness I found this stencil which I can use to make stars in paper. I placed it on a tile which also has stars on it. I made the blue pop with an Orton Effect.
My first attempt in trying to capture start trails. It was time consuming and required lot of patience to not touch my phone. But the end result was good. Shot on my One Plus 7 Pro
