U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III lands in Ben Gurion airport beginning his first visit to Israel, on April 11, 2021.

Secretary Austin was met in the airport by U.S. Embassy Jerusalem’s Charge d’Affaires Jonathan Shrier, Israeli Military Attache in Washington Maj-Gen Yehuda Fuchs and Zohar Palti, the Head of the Political-Military Bureau in the Israeli Ministry of Defense.
