I was rewarded for getting out to Forget-Me-Not pond Friday night. not another soul around 1:33 am Saturday May 28th
This is one of four discus fish that lives in a corner tank located in the living room. And yes, the discus all have names. This one is simply Panda because he is a checkerboard panda discus. The others are Lacy, Sunny and Ralphi. There are companion fish in the tank as well. In this image, it sort of looks like the tank is over crowded, but it is not. For what ever reason when I was taking photos, they all seemed to want to be front and center.
Anyway, this image was taken for the "Smile on Saturday group", and this weeks theme is "Fish".

I shot this some time back, but I was going through my library and spotted it and, tomorrow is Saturday...>:) This place is a private high school in Austin. If you're thinking big bucks, you're right. It's just across the street from a golf course..;)
The Internet says the school has been moved and is being refitted into a hotel.

Balancing Rocks in the Ottawa River.
Remic Rapids Park is situated on the shore of the Ottawa River, Ottawa, Canada.
To enhance the park’s beauty, artist John Felice Ceprano has created balanced rock sculptures on the river’s edge since 1986. The artist uses fossilized and colourful rocks found on the shore to build these sculptures by hand. They provide a free and exploratory public art experience that complements the park’s natural setting.
There were a lot of fisherman putting their boats in the lake early this morning.

THEME: Earrings - this challenge was tough for me only because I have SO many pairs and it was hard to decide which pair to use. So I went with my most favorite pair. These are about 2" long. The white is a pearl with sterling silver and black onyx stone. I LUV em.
The next challenge was how to photograph them - most that know me know I am not good at all at staging things. I rather like this thou. Shot in my back yard.
