What we choose to remember says more about us than about what we are remembering.

Remember the Ten Run, Stillwater Oklahoma. We will never forget those men that were representing Oklahoma State in various capacities that trip for a Big 12 road basketball game at Colorado. They are Kendall Durfey (radio engineer), Bjorn Fahlstrom (co-pilot), Nate Fleming (Cowboys player), Will Hancock (athletic media relations for basketball), Daniel Lawson (Cowboys player), Brian Luinstra (athletic trainer), Denver Mills (pilot), Pat Noyes (basketball operations director), Bill Teegins (play-by-play radio announcer) and Jared Weiberg (basketball manager).

Romulus, by Sufjan Stevens

Once when our mother called

She had a voice of last year’s cough

We passed around the phone

Sharing a word about Oregon

When my turn came

I was ashamed

When my turn came

I was ashamed

Once when we moved away

She came to Romulus for a day

Her Chevrolet broke down

We prayed it never be fixed or be found

We touched her hair

We touched her hair

We touched her hair

We touched her hair

When she had her last child

Once when she had some boyfriend, some wild

She moved away quite far

Our Grandpa bought us a new VCR

We watched it all night

We grew up in spite of it

We watched it all night

We grew up in spite of it

We saw her once last fall

Our Grandpa died in a hospital gown

She didn’t seem to care

She smoked in her room and colored her hair

I was ashamed

I was ashamed of her

I was ashamed

I was ashamed of her

I was ashamed

Of her

I remember 78's. I had one that I played over and over until Mom came out and broke it. She said "I've had enough!"

The Devil's Churn - I still get a little chill up my spine as I turn the corner at the end of the beach and see this somewhat pre historic sight..and Fair Head looming in the distance. Of course as a child I hoped the sea would be rough so we could see it perform as a proper blow hole.

I will never FORGET those lost even though I never meet them I pray you everyday that I look up and at see the Towers.....

Before Leedyville went all to hell.

Remember the time when there was a land called Palestine? It was not too long ago, and this design sends the message that we will not forget this time in our complex history. Palestine48 takes us back to the time when there was a land of Peace for all of our Mothers, Fathers, Brothers and Sisters of the Middle East.

Mandela will die soon. Today, tomorrow, this week, next week. It wont be long. When Cameron latches on the Mandela bandwagon this week remember that in 1985 he was a top member of the Federation of Conservative Students, who produced the "hang Mandela" posters. In 1989 Cameron worked in the Tory Policy Unit at Central Office and went on a anti-sanctions fact finding mission to South Africa with pro-apartheid Lobby Firm that was sponsored by Botha. Remember this when he tells the world he was inspired by Madiba. Thanks to Rocker Rosehip and John Anthony for this"

Today, we finally got time to replace Flo's old peach tree in the backyard that didn't survive the last season. After losing Bruno in November, we decided we would bury him there, and plant a dogwood tree. But, as schedules would have it, it took us awhile. Flo was in Tennessee today, so we put her on a video conference to watch us wrestle getting the tree in the hole, and then saying a few nice words to remember our old buddy. This space feels a little more sacred now. Now, we just have to keep Pax from eating the tree. Long ago, Bruno completely destroyed one of two expensive trees we had just planted. Ahh... the circle of life.
