Photo Highlights from the 2014 eSMART Summer Enrichment Program. The Enrivonmental Science, Mathematics, and Related Technology Summer Research Program took place on the campus of Voorhees College from June 2 – June 30, 2014. This intensive summer research experience provided mentoring and research experiences while allowing high school students opportunity to preview college life. On Monday, June 30, 2014, the program ended with a Science Fair and Luncheon. Students displayed their presentations and each group did oral presentations.
The guest speaker for the luncheon was Ms. Natalie Davis Ferguson, chemical engineer and Program Manager for University Relations in the Strategic Development and Technology Partnership group at Savannah River National Laboratory. Ms. Ferguson received her degree in chemical engineering from the University of Pittsburg, where she worked as an engineer intern, counselor and tutor. She is also the first African American woman to receive a “Chem E” degree from Pitt.
The Seabiscuit program took place on August 2003 at Countryside.
Seabiscuit's former jockey lives locally and he described the world of thoroughbred racing in the 1930s when Seabiscuit was the “all-star” of all time. He shared a scrapbook filled with his racing career highlights and shared many memories. The library was filled to capacity that day.
Rangers gave a program on Boyd's Hole from the perspective of various people who have passed through there.

Programa Adasa na Escola oferece a colégios de Brasília palestras sobre o uso racional dos recursos hídricos. Escola Classe 45 de Ceilândia recebeu o projeto no início do mês.
O estudante do terceiro ano Luis Felipe Nascimento, de 8 anos, demonstrou ter prestado atenção e foi premiado na gincana.

Property owners and managers gathered for a special recognition program on September 11, 2015, in HUD’s Philadelphia Regional Office. They were recognized for their efforts in supporting the regional office’s Multifamily Homeless Placement Program, which encourages property owners in HUD’s Multifamily Housing inventory to adopt a homeless preference and to lease units to families and individuals experiencing homelessness.
