This project started on July 1st. in 1997, that is, the day of the transfer of sovereignty over Hong Kong and continued for half a year. I took more than 10,000 pieces of night shots. After 13 years of vacuum, I decided to reopen photography seriously in 2010 and started taking pictures mainly at night again…

my 7d got stolen recently so pretty much only film for awhile until I can afford to buy a new camera! several planned photoshoots in the near future however.
Last autumn we had a lot of fly agarics in the woods and in the clearings. These couple of fruit bodies here are part of the actual organism with its root network, living in the soil.

I usually relax here in Shanghai but now I feel nervous because the relations between Japan and China are going from bad to worse…
My first experience with snow this winter.
I'm now in England and the morning after I got here, there was snow everywhere.

I had made a trip to Shanghai, China and Ise, Japan for more than ten days. I'll upload photos taken there for the time being, because I'll be busy in printing my work for the upcoming exhibition in Thuin, Belgium and have no time to take a photo, probably. Fortunately, I took a lot of photos in Shanghai and I did so almost on instinct as I had done there all the time. In Shanghai I'm just like a stray dog…
