This photo was taken by last year or the year before. All I could remember is that time I was fascinated by the idea of lights travel through the forest. But apparently, I failed to get it.
If anyone could give me some advices or recommend some place with more trees around Perth, I will really appreciate.
Again, thanks all for your browsing and comments.
Blackwall Reach is a great spot for rock climbing, But might not be a popular spot for photography. The photos from this location are few, I don't know why, it's just 20mins drive from Perth CBD.
The lucky thing about this shot is I didn't take it by long exposure. One side is rough rocks, what's your choice for another side? As smooth as a mirror or keep some waves on the water surface?
Again, thanks all for your browsing and comments.
Another photo from years ago. Actually, I meant to take photos of Eternal Flame and Memorial on that day. But still got time after that, so I walked around to the lookout and did my first try for the whole Perth city panorama.
Here is the Outcome! Honestly, its a big WOW even for myself.

Thank you all!
This is a panoramic view of Perth, I used nine photos in this stitch and shot it with my 50mm f1.4 lens
Taken on one of the side streets in West Perth/Leederville. I think this office is still in use. Photographed using cine retro film simulation in Silky Pix for Lumix cameras.
Dusk falls as the PLPR test train 1Q79 15.38 from Inverness Millburn to Mossend prepares for its departure.
2025 started with a bang. Relatively strong auroras could be seen from the light polluted skies of Perth City. Would've been nice to travel to a dark sky location but unfortunately I have a 4-hour drive planned for the following morning.
Last in the series of pictures taken on my ride along the Swan River foreshore from Perth to Belmont.
This is taken from a hill along the Swan River at Belmont. I like this view. Although Perth is relatively big with more than 1 million people it looks like its set in the middle of wetlands. The wetlands on the opposite side of the river are in Maylands. Its really interesting to see how each location along the river is so different to one another.
St Matthew's Church of Scotland, Perth
A bit of a handheld "shortbread tin" shot. I thought about a long exposure to silk up the water, but "herself" had wandered off with my tripod and was admiring the view from further down.
Waddya mean? I can't carry the camera AND the tripod .. and, apart from that, I don't pay a dog and bark myself ...
Wikipedia
