Grows 4' tall and 3' wide. Sturdy stems & green maple leaf foliage. Large 8-10in. pink flowers with a darker pink eye & dark pink peppermint stripes. Planted in 2013. Leaves somewhat curled in 2017. Did not do well in 2018, 2019 is better.
2020 note: Looks back to normal this year.I had several Hibiscus that have croaked over the years. Not sure why I have a problem growing these perennials.
2021: Looks ok this year, but the leaves are showing insect damage.

Hot chocolate with a hint of peppermint schnapps, a candy cane, and whipped cream is one of my favorite winter treats. It's nearly spring now, so I probably won't drink another one of these for several months.
My old kitty Callahan at my old apartment in Loring Park. I named him after Bill Callahan. Now he lives with my Mother's friend because I became chronically ill.
No, I never gave him alcohol. Do you think a cat would even come near Tuna Schnapps? I highly doubt it.
