"Trouble No More" by Muddy Waters
For Sliders Sunday.
Happy SS,
We do not have this cold today, the picture is a few years old.
Created for Sliders Sunday and if I have friends in the part of the United States that Currently has the polar cold. Stay warm friends.
My own texture.
Hard processed in Topaz
... from my garden.
Thank you dear friends for your visits and kind comments. I do appreciate them all.
Yes, I know...a lot of these lately. But every year at this explosive time, I go out and take tons of photos many of which never get uploaded because I try to present my stream as a calendar/diary of the days...and as we know the days fly by rather quickly. So as we are currently enduring dramatic thunderstorms, I thought I'd offer another admittedly from a week or so ago. And yes, this processed version is a bit dark yet again (as some of you have commented of late), so I have added the SOOC version in comments which may also please the purists amongst you.

More than this, there is nothing
More than this, tell me one thing
More than this, there is nothing
It was fun for a while
There was no way of knowing
Like dream in the night
Who can say where we're going
No care in the world
Maybe I'm learning
Why the sea on the tide
Has no way of turning

Photographers have a tendency to go for reduction and abstraction. I like those modern urban cacophonies. This is the part about history of nature in the National Museum of Scotland.
Warning: Don't try this after using a rescue inhaler for hayfever. The steady hands of my husband replaced these tiny dandelion seeds or dandelion clocks into the itty bitty bottle (1.8 cm tall/ 0.07 inches tall). Made by a wee glass blower.

Four studio lights. Aperture f/4. Slight faffing.
* Straightened the tiny bottle or vase three times. Still not aligned!
Actually the star in the garden at the moment

🎶 THE RUNNING MATES Cover EXTREME - MORE THAN WORDS
More Than Words
Extreme
Saying "I love you"
Is not the words I want to hear from you
It's not that I want you
Not to say, but if you only knew
How easy
It would be to show me how you feel
More than words
Is all you have to do to make it real
Then you wouldn't have to say
That you love me
'Cause I'd already know
What would you do
If my heart was torn in two
More than words to show you feel
That your love for me is real
What would you say
If I took those words away
Then you couldn't make things new
Just by saying "I love you"

Abstract (n)IceArt on the pond
in our garden - Frankfurt-Nordend
This evenings cloudy sunset was taken about 30 miles East of the Oregon-Idaho stateline off I-84. With all the clouds the sunset never got any brighter, or more colorful. Fortunately, i loved the pinkish light, and that was all the reason I needed to pull to the shoulder and walk over to the open area next to my truck, and of course take a few pictures.
