(Sunday the 22nd May 2016 at Midday)

Late evening, towards St. Paul's Cathedral. Had to wait ages for the theatre crowd to disappear and by then so had the blue hour

On the River Goyt, Derbyshire, the walkway (almost out of shot) was part of a millenium project and joins parts of a riverside walk through the gorge

next to this image is the 'bull' shown at the far center of this image was shot the night before - don't have my tripod with me. then i thought of shooting this image the following night bringing my tripod this time for a long exposure shot. i really like the pleasant night mood that this place brings.

Even from a distance, when I saw Chicago's Millennium Park, I knew I wanted to be there. The park covers 24.5-acre (99,000 m2) and features the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, Cloud Gate, the Crown Fountain, the Lurie Garden, and various other attractions.

Millennium Park is considered one of the largest green roofs in the world, having been constructed on top of a railroad yard and large parking garages. The park, which is known for being user friendly, has a very rigorous cleaning schedule with many areas being swept, wiped down or cleaned multiple times a day.

One of the last pictures I took on my walk at night two weeks ago.

The Millennium Mills is a derelict turn of 20th century flour mill in London, England. It is described as a "decaying industrial anachronism standing defiant and alone in the surrounding subtopia".

It is an old flour mill built in the early 1900s and 100s of men, women and children must have worked there in its heyday. The name comes from the owners' most successful product, a flour variety which they called "Millennium Flour" after winning the "The Miller Challenge Cup" at the 1899 International Bakers Exhibition.
