Compositionally Challenged Week 28 - High Key
I thought I would be creative, and float the cosmos on top of milk. It didn't take long before it started to sink, lol. : )

Canon EOS 5D Mark III camera w Canon EF600mm f/4L IS USM lens. f/7.1, 1/250s, ISO-1600, 600mm.
Milk Snakes are non venomous but they can pack a mean bite and draw blood! As first hand witnessed as a boy. These snakes can reach between 3-6 ft. long.
Interesting thing was this snake coiled up on me when in the grass and vibrated his tail just like a rattle snake! He struck at the stick I put near him!

My brother-in-law and I tried a bit of astral photography one night. It's very hard to get away from the street light on the property. It really bothered me while we were shooting, but I kind of liked having it in my developed shots.

I saw a doe on the other side of a little ravine while I had my camera in my hand. I watched her for a little bit and she called for her baby who suddenly came running from the woods and immediately started drinking from her.
The doe turned her head away from me to lick her baby, so I slowly snuck closer to the edge of the hill, knelt down and took a bunch of pictures. I wanted to try to get a close up angle to see the baby drinking from underneath. I hope you enjoy it.
