When Ruva contacted me about her faceup, she told me that she was entirely open to my whims looking for something creative. " Freckles, glitter, scars, lots of color, anything goes." Well, I took that to heart! I found inspiration from some makeup looks online and tried to recreate that on the doll. Building up this level of pastel depth was quite the undertaking! Dear Ruva, I hope you can come up with a fun character for this one! <3
I had a shoot with Marley last evening. She is a friend of a makeup artist that I've collaborated with for a few of my shoots and she wanted to use pictures of her friend to add to her portfolio. This was also the first image I've edited using a Wacom Intuous tablet, it took me longer to edit as I'm still getting used to it but I can see why it's a good tool to use

Shot this through glass plate that was hold close to the models face with candle wax dropped on it. Took some try's before we got it right, but in the end I like the effect.
