Recent trip to Disney's Magic Kingdom in Orlando. The light was bouncing off one of the buildings on the left and lighting the ballon girl's face... just thought it was pretty cool.

I think snow is magical. It takes dull and drab and transforms it into white and beautiful. This was taken back in January, at the beginning of an 8 inch snowfall. I’m just now uploading it, because it took me awhile to decide for sure that I wanted to use it for this theme. And then I just plain got sick of snow! But it’s spring now, and I do think snow is magical.

A Baliuag 'magic' sectional table with archaic bone and wood inlays

This beautiful five-piece sectional table – comprising two semi-round cabesera tables with frieze drawers and three rectangular sections—can be easily extended or shortened as needed. The restrained use of inlay and the delicate-looking legs indicate an early example. The legs are skillfully hand-carved with elegant turnings and reedings, terminating in finely shaped bobbin feet.
