I obtained permission from Dane County to photograph these ruins across the street from Indian Lake County Park. The property is owned by the Ice Age Trail Alliance, and was obtained for expansion of the trail. Dane County manages the property and will be taking over ownership shortly. The assured me that they have no plans to remove these ruins, as apparently many have expressed interest in their historical value. I am very thankful they gave me the opportunity to explore this site.

'Midland Air Training School'
The door to Linda Hamilton's apartment, center, remained intact as the Dr. Matz building was demolished. Hamilton, the building's owner, was on hand to witness the destruction after city officials determined the building's instability posed a risk of collapse.
