My linux box circa 1997-2000. It's still working as well just very very slowly. It's a Pentium 200mhz with 256Mb and a 2.5Gb Quantum Bifoot drive (Visible in the drivebay below the cdrom drive).
As of this evening, this is how my Eee 701SD netbook's desktop looks - this is Arch Linux, running the Fluxbox window manager, with XMMS, XFCE Terminal and Conky in the main area, and wmdrawer, GKrellM, wmvolman and wmbinclock in the "slit" (dock) on the right. The slit has "pseudo-transparency" turned on, and GKrellM is using the "Hardware" (alternative) theme - pretty cool-looking, I think :-)
If you ever wondered what OS the aircraft entertainment system runs (OK, that's probably 2% of you), here is your hard proof that it's Linux. The system was having trouble getting started, and they had to do multiple boots, so I got a shaky shot of the boot process.
Kristen hosted a potluck at her home in the country West of Portland, and invited some of the filesystem summit participants. It included contributions from five homebrewers and lots of great cooking. Thanks Kristen!
