Schoolchildren from St Charles Primary School in Maryhill became Citizen Scientists for the day as part of Cleaner Canal Science, a new science-based project tackling litter on the Forth & Clyde Canal in Glasgow led by Scottish Waterways Trust and Glasgow Science Festival (University of Glasgow) and funded by Zero Waste Scotland Litter & Flytipping Innovation Fund.
Alabama 4-H visits the Eastwood Branch Library for the summer learning program Blast Off! Destination Critters and Constellations. The crowd is introduced to an owl, snake, hawk, turtle, and a lizard, and learns how some of their behavior is tied to the constellations.
Photoshop has intimidated me. Everytime I experiment with it I get very frustrated and leave it. I have been using it for slight adjustments. Today I decided to stay put. The original really should have been deleted. The butterfly was extremely underexposed. I was able to adjust the butterfly and keep the rest of the photo as is. To most of you...no big deal...but for me it was a great accomplishment today! So I am patting myself on the back.
