A ray of sun isn't enough in a sky as blue as the ocean
Because I keep with me a pain that rises, that rises
It stops at my trembling knees
And I know why.
It doesn't stop the ride, it doesn't wanna stop
Because it's a pain that rises, that rises and hurts
Now it's at the stomach, liver, I vomit, I cheat myself, but it is still there.
And when the night comes
and I'm alone with myself
My head goes away looking for reasons.
Neither winners, nor losers, both sides are losers for a half
Life can estrange us, but love will keep on.
The stomach resisted even though it doesn't want to eat
But there is stil that pain that rises and hurts
It reaches the heart, wants to beat it stronger than I want to
Its race goes on, it takes all that is left
And in a moment it explodes and my head blows up
It wants an answer but deep down there is no answer
It rises then pours from the eyes
Where is the sun now?
While the pain on the paper is
Sitting here beside me
Since words left in the air are half-spoken words
But these ones are written already
And time won't pass by
But when the night comes, the night
and I'm alone with myself
My head goes away looking for reasons
There are no winners nor losers
Both sides are losers for half
Life can extrange us, love will continue
And when the night comes
I'm alone with myself
My head goes away looking for reasons
Neither winners, nor losers, both sides are losers for a half
Love can tear us apart, but life will go on
Will go on
Will go on

The Our Lady of Victory Basilica is a Catholic parish church and national shrine in Lackawanna, New York. Due to the multiple charities of founder Father Nelson Baker, the shrine is a popular pilgrimage and visitor destination in Lackawanna. It is part of the Diocese of Buffalo.
The Roycroft Campus, the Roycroft way of life and its story began in 1897 with Elbert Hubbard a legendary man of vision who founded the American Arts and Crafts Movement in East Aurora NY. For more than 20 years, the Roycroft Campus was a center of entrepreneurship, creativity and learning. It was a hub of activity with over five hundred working artisans and craftsmen and drew visitors from faraway places.
Explored #20. Thank You
I had all of 2 evenings and managed few shots. Always a big challenge when I go out to shoot these majestic landmarks ...what POV/Angle can I get. Given the lack of the previously seen yellow lights in the arches....made it more difficult. The rains had just stopped and that helped !
The real landmark of Macau is the Ruins of St. Paul,
the remains of the Church of the Mother of God - part of the College of Saint Paul founded in 1594 and lasting until 1762. Missionaries to spread Christianity in China and Japan were also trained here.
It was considered the first Western-style university here in the "Far East". St. Paul's Church, built in 1580, was destroyed twice (1595 and 1601). From 1602 to 1640 it was rebuilt by Chinese and Japanese craftsmen.
From 1762 the building was abandoned after the Jesuits withdrew.
From 1800 the church was used by the military.
It fell completely victim to a fire in 1835.
Only the facade, foundations and the front entrance steps are left.
Together with the historic center they were included in the UNESCO World Heritage in 2005.
Cabot Tower a historical landmark located on Signal Hill a National Historic site in the City of St. John's on the Avalon Peninsula in Newfoundland and Labrador Canada
Cabot Tower is a tower in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, situated on Signal Hill. Construction of the tower began in 1898 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of John Cabot's discovery of Newfoundland, and Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee.
In 1901, Guglielmo Marconi received the first trans-Atlantic wireless message at a position near the tower, the letter "S" in Morse Code sent from Poldhu, Cornwall, United Kingdom. Cabot Tower is now the centre of the Signal Hill National Historic Site of Canada,] with walking trails and an interpretation centre.
Located at the highest point of Signal Hill, overlooking the city and the ocean, Cabot Tower is an example of late-Gothic Revival style. Built of irregularly coursed red sandstone, it is composed of a two-story, 30 foot, square structure with a three-story, 50 foot octagonal tower that stands on the southeast corner of the building. The corners are buttressed at the first floor level and further emphasized through the use of heavier blocks of stone. On the main body of the building, at the top of the second storey level, is a line of repeating pattern like an exaggerated dentil row or inverted crenelations. The attached tower, which houses the main entrance, is very plain with a double string course marking the divisions between second and third storeys and heavy corbel tables marking the eight corners of the turret at the flared upper level. The windows on both the corner turret and the body of the tower proper are rectangular and set under heavy stone lintels.
The architect of Cabot Tower, William Howe Greene, was a prominent St. John's architect and an associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects. Wikipedia

The Saarpolygon is a memorial to the coal mining in the Saar region, which finally ended in June 2012. The large accessible sculpture stands on the Duhamel slagheap in Ensdorf, which rises about 150 metres above the surrounding Saartal valley.
The walkable monument is about 30 metres high. The 35-metre-long transverse section is accessed from both sides by 132 steps at a height of 25 metres. The viewing platform weighs around 60 tons. The Saarpolygon is designed in such a way that it has a different shape from each direction: rectangular archway, triangle standing on the top or base, cross with horizontal line. In the ground plan it has the shape of a Z.
147 designs were submitted in the competition of ideas for the artistic implementation - the winner was the Berlin architect duo Katja Pfeiffer and Oliver Sachse.
Their design of a large walk-in sculpture, which "as a symbol of change in an abstract language of form traces a variety of mining motifs", is intended to form a gateway into the future in the eyes of the beholder. The formal language of the puristic steel grid construction is intended to express the inseparability of origin and future in the country and to show the classic connection of coal, steel and energy in Saarland.

The exterior of the Providence Arcade in Downtown Providence, R.I. when the building was closed and vacant.
Today the building is open and has a mixed use. The first floor is being used for small businesses while the second and third floor has 48 micro apartments for rent.
It is notable as the first enclosed shopping mall in the United States dating back to 1828.

Clarke Quay is a unique, conserved historical landmark located along the Singapore River. This photograph was taken with remaining colours in the cloud formations. The open spaces of the Clarke Quay complex, with rows of conserved buildings, are covered by structures above the roof level. In addition, many “umbrellas” along the river bank offer shade or rain cover to diners.

Durdle Door is one of Dorset’s most photographed and iconic landmarks. It is part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site and is an extremely popular beauty spot.
It is located on the Lulworth Estate in south Dorset and is part of the Jurassic Coast. The coastline is of such international geological importance that it was designated England’s first natural World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2001 and is now part of a family of natural wonders including America’s Grand Canyon and Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.
The magnificent natural limestone arch was formed when the power of the waves eroded the rock and forged a hole through the middle. The name Durdle is derived from an old English word ‘thirl’, which means to pierce, bore or drill.

The Coso Petroglyphs have been subject to various interpretations as to their meaning and function. One perspective argues that the drawings are metaphoric images correlated with individual shamanic vision quests. Alternatively it has been argued that they are part of a hunting religion that included increase rites and were associated with a sheep cult ceremonial complex.[3][4] However these alternative explanations might be somewhat complementary in that the medicine persons could have been the artisans but their messages might have often been associated with religious observances centering on the veneration of bighorn sheep.[5]
In addition to the extant petroglyph rock art, the Coso People carried out extensive working of obsidian tools and other 'manufacturing.' There is considerable archaeological evidence substantiating trade of these products between the Coso People and other Indigenous peoples of the Americas and Native American tribes.[6] For example, distant trade with the southern Californian Pacific coast Chumash People is confirmed by archaeological recovery from California sites in San Luis Obispo County, California[7] and other coastal indigenous peoples' sites.
Big and Little Petroglyph Canyons are situated on property of the China Lake Naval Air Weapons Station. The two canyons are a designated U.S. National Historic Landmark. In 2001, they were incorporated into a larger National Historic Landmark District, called the Coso Rock Art District.[8]
In 2014, the Ridgecrest Petroglyph Festival was created as an annual celebration and showcase the petroglyphs located in the two canyons.

The Cape Florida Lighthouse first was erected in 1825 at the beautiful location of Key Biscayne guiding sailors around the Florida reefs to avoid accidents on sea. It survived 200 years of history around with hurricanes, attacks, explosions of lantern oil and gun powder and a lot more. It is today a cultural landmark at the south of Miami.

Der älteste Kirchenbau Erfurts wurde im 8. Jahrhundert grundgelegt.
