Labels on a product are the description of the product. It also assists the product in standing out from all the competitors in the market. People might think that there are any set rules for designing a label, but there is none. Each label is unique and each label speaks for itself. Each time someone buys the item it comes in the labeling, so the customer's reason for the complete expense of the item will incorporate labeling costs. It is important to define the parameters before starting to work on the design as it can be an endless road.
In the process of designing the label, we first like to get to know more about your preferences regarding the design – style, layout, color preferences, etc. We try our best to make this as an enjoyable yet result driven experience for you. We understand that the label design needs to match and go with the label material, and we make sure to make use of it.
We also work with you on how you want the label to be – the size. The size of a label is an important aspect of designing the label as it tells you in what way to represent and showcase the information that you need to communicate to the audience. We understand that each step of product manufacturing is essential to you & we act accordingly, we care.
Jar label design for a protest piece against feeding babies meat as they are unaware they're eating animals. This was for a project on how graphic design can incorporate ethics and ideas. The cartoon and the type were both drawn in Illustrator and then everything was put together in Photoshop.
Label design is crucial, it's the face of your product and people will judge it on first impression. When your product is lined up within the competition does it stand out or blends in? Will customer understand instantly what it is you are selling? By design research and exploration we will arrive to design solution that helps sales and marketing.
