I'm trying to experiment with colours. Not very brave so far but I'm happy.

Creds to Kaleb for fig parts.

While I do like walking tank style mechs with heavy weaponry and thick boxy armor, I sometimes feel like there are many unexplored aesthetics within the mecha genre. I thought it would be fun to do a mech with more organic elements and no guns.

I've been wanting to recreate this for a while now, and the "future" prompt was a perfect opportunity. Loved working with these bright colors. They were relatively easy to see at 2 AM, at least. XD

I struggled to find the best angle to present, in the end you lose some top level detail (no postapoc build is complete without rubber duckies but you can't see mine in this shot!). Like yesterday, more photos will be coming to my Blockheads once I get some sleep.

Needs D Tan hands but whatever. Based on Michael's awesome figs.

The Mobile Medical Unit is like a space ambulance/ER. Comes complete with two operating/recovery tables and all the supplies needed to stabilize patients before their extraction. Huge sensor array guides the MMU with uplink to the carrier vessel for increased guidance.

I imagined this as a giant pirate freighter, lumbering through the galaxy. Named for Cerberus' two headed brother because of the two pod things coming out of the front.

This was built for Brickfair, believe it or not, and it took me 5 months to finally take pictures of it :P

More stuff coming!

Escaping from the tomb and putting someone else in their place.

Rather than quoting Bible verses you're going to hear a whole lot today and half of you will discredit as cult utterances, I thought I'd just put this out instead: Angels, Heaven, and other aspects of our faith are concepts difficult to wrap one's head around, and right now we can't. So a lot of people dismiss them as petty imaginings and larger-than-life reflections of things we can see and touch. "Giant humans with bird wings? Haha how pagan."

Consider, just for a brief while, the implications of perhaps these being original concepts; our concepts and ideas little reflections that are missing pieces, and the only way those who saw angels or Heaven could describe them was through Earthly terms, resulting in outrageous-sounding descriptions filled with lions' heads, wheels within wheels, and a lot of gold when there simply was no way to utter the element that made their appearance unutterable. Plato, though not completely right, had hit on something with his Myth of the Cave, now you just need someone to guide you out of it...

This brief little build is also destined to be an entry for FLONAPRIL, it seems: www.flickr.com/groups/flonapril/

...and we're ready to speed out!

Definitely my favourite MOC. :3

I updated my old one a bit 'cos (Hopefully) this will go on display at Brickworld!

A Christmas gift for my sister, Littlehaulic. It's a Lego version of her calico cat.

FebRovery Day 7

M:Tron Speeder bike was one of the most popular vehicles to zip around.

Apparently I lack an M:Tron minifig, so I made one as best as I could.

I did the Lego thing...because it's January...

Please ignore the ludicrously stubby arms.

I have a few things from my backlog to post as well as some more drone-y goodness coming soon, so keep an eye out!

Enjoy!

I recently read William Gibson's Virtual Light and tried to make one of the futuristic, lightweight bicycles that are described in the novel. It didn't really work out, so I just made some Akira-type motorcycles instead.

Another FebRovery M:Tron vehicle.

Been wanting to come up with a universal fuel cell for ships for some time. It was always a fun thing as kid when to try to always incorporate the basic one at that time (2x2 round with plate on bottom and tile on top. This feels like a modern variation on that old friend. I need some 1x1 rounds in transclear for 'empty' ones. I do like the T bar on this that will act as a plug in for energy transfer conduits or the like. They are also stackable and lock in top to bottom nicely.

Macro Monday entry for July 11, 2022 - "Four"

Backlit white lego plate with four colored translucent single round studs capped with a matching color single round tile; red, yellow, green, and blue.

Backlight is the light from an iPhone 12

Camera is a Sony a7R III connected to a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM via a Sigma MC-11 mount converter

So as promise (from October), here he is, the Phantom Virus. Originally started as a contest entry into J\'s Customs Scooby Doo contest, but took too long to make. Head is my first every proper sculpt using fimo. A really weird and difficult figure to make, due to his non-minifig proportions. Legs are extended with two tiles to give him extra hight. Hes still not tall enough/head oversized.

I don\'t even know....

Well, let me know what you think on my weirdest custom to date. J's Customs , I hope the wait was worth while lol

Alien build for Andromeda's Gates on Eurobricks, see the story post here: www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=111700

I know that some people think that posting minifigs is not equivalent to posting MOCs, but THEY'RE SO PRETTY.

The front view of Seryyi Volki which show the secondary arm placement below the eyeball.

The Sanctuary rises from a ridge overlooking four valleys, famed for the clarity of their seasons. People from the region may be admitted to the Sanctuary for a period of secluded reflection -- traditionally, in Spring, for those who have just ended their education; in Summer, for those recently recovered from a life-threatening illness; in Autumn, for those who have completed their life work; or in Winter, for those who have lost a loved one.

A carved and painted folding box is a traditional memento for people who have stayed at the Sanctuary. Its design represents their experience, which can be held close inside, or unfolded to share the peace of the Sanctuary.

Hello Guys

Every time that a big Batman related thing is about to happen almost everytime i watch Batman Begins to...you know start with the hype. And every time i fall in love with the Tumbler actually thats how i restarted here on Flickr as some of you may remember.

My last Tumbler at the time was my best MOC but now it's kinda meh so i decided to completely re-do the thing.

I've got a lot of brick building knowladge this past year so i was able to recreate most of the angles in an accurate way.And at the same time keeping it on a semi accurate minifig scale.

The only part that wasn't completly designed by me was the flaps that is Riskjockey's idea.

So yeah one of the best parts about this is that i didn't had to take apart the Arkham Knight Batmobile so now there's two Batmobile's on the collection with a third coming really soon ;)

Hope you like it and as always any type of comment is more than welcome

Have a Fantastic week !!

This is my 2nd part of my entry to the Global Challenge 3 at LCC.

After a long and hard transit to the far islands of the wizards our Lenfel guys finally arrive there. Paul von Brickenstein's decision was to attack the nothern islands: The residency of the ice mages !

But these wizards are harde to beat, than expected. They are really powerful, and have a lot of strong mystic soldiers and orcs. We are loosing a lot of men, and eventually we will fail at our mission...
