Well there were enough tears yesterday - I realise Nana has had the best life she could within the confines of her personality.
Therefore I am going to leave for my weekend with Claudia, Gnorri and Omar in Rome on a happy note. See you all when I get back

Every time one of the Roller adults left their nest after feeding their chicks, they spent a few minutes looking out of the nest hole. I just assumed they were looking out for predators but a few times they saw something tasty on the ground and flew down and caught it.

As the Pride Parade has become more mainstream, corporate-sponsored, and family friendly, the spectators have become more extreme, unique, and radical in what they wear to view the parade...

Once a year we all have a birthday and today, on St Patrick's Day, it was Lewis's birthday. He was celebrating - after school - his 7th birthday and he here he is contemplating which of the many sweets - candy, to kick off his little party!!

And about microwaving wet prints--I remember the collected gasp from the audience during a film on AA where he so blissfully ripped a beautiful wet 16x20 in half and stuck it in the microwave (the same one, I think, that my grandparents had, lol) to do a quick dry.

Better check that it really is a predator we can see .............. S%$£$%^iT .......... it is! I've heard of this behaviour in giraffe but never seen it - they spotted the lions way back as they came through the tree line, then carefully came right up to check exactly how many lions there were. Apparently it's always better if they can see the lion, that way they can't be the victims of a surprise attack.

He had a picture with him that had red dragons on it. He said his mummy had given it to him so he would know he had arrived at the right place. it looked like us so he said he wanted to stay. Hurray!
