The Mosque of Ibn Tulun is one of the oldest and largest in Cairo. Dating from the 9th century, its design is similar in many ways to the great congregational mosque in Samarra in Iraq. This photograph shows the mosque's extraordinary minaret, with its exterior spiral staircase - the only one of its type in Cairo.
Marking the end of their unit on Islam, the eighth grade celebrated Islam Day on November 18. There were presentations on Islamic luminaries, a panel discussion on the future of Afghanistan, a Muslim prayer ritual and games. The Café also served a special lunch highlighting foods from the Middle East.
Supplications (Dua) appeared in Holy Qur'an and the authentic small useful Ahadith; for your family and kids to unconsciously or consciously know about the basic teachings of Islam just make a folder and set as frequently changing desktop background so that automatically when child or family member opens and works on the computer his /her mind will read it.
