Islamic Cairo is a very old area, surrounded by walls dating from the middle-ages, and was once the cultural, religious and intellectual center of the entire Arab world. Monumental buildings, palaces, many famous mosques and madrasas (religious schools), numerous markets and the oldest university in the world (al-Azhar) still stand witness to a glorious past. But, in the twentieth century Egypt has become a poor third world country and at present Islamic Cairo has fallen into decline, it is full of ruins and has degraded into a living and working neighborhood for the very poorest. The entire neighborhood has become a big bazaar, a labyrinth of dirty, stinking and dusty streets, with thousands of old-fashioned workshops where many crafts are still practiced at a very high level. Two million people live close by in what used to be the burial ground for the very rich: the City of the Dead. Entire families have taken possession of old sepulchers. Surrounding it are schools and stores, the center of an extremely lively social life.
The lot of the inhabitants is not just poverty; religion is also very important to them, namely the Sunni Islam. Daily life is interrupted five times a day by the call from the mosques that is heard everywhere and the people go to pray to Allah. The visitor can experience: the ramadan (a period of fasting), the hadj (a pilgrimage to Mecca), and exuberant weddings and funerals one after the other. Islamic Cairo is grandeur and decline, work and poverty, religion and tradition in confrontation with the modern world, as a great stage where everything takes place in an eternal scenario.
The series of black and white panoramic photographs - made in the period 1986-2001 - has been made with support of the Foundation Found for Visual Art, Design and Architecture (Amsterdam) and Agfa Gevaert (Leverkussen). Ilmu paling utama adalah mengenal ALLAH dan RasulNya…Dewasa kini ramai yang seolah-olah meremehkan ilmu mengenal ALLAH dan Rasul, kononnya kerana itu adalah ilmu bagi kanak-kanak sahaja sedangkan dirinya sendiri tidak mengetahuinya, malangnya dia merasakan dirinya di atas rupa-rupanya masih ketinggalan di bawah.ALLAH telah berfirman di dalam surah Muhammad ayat 19 yang bermaksud: “Ketahuilah bahawa sesungguhnya tiada tuhan melainkan ALLAH.” Di dalam ayat ini merupakan satu perintah agar mempelajari ilmu tauhid iaitu mengenal ALLAH.Rasulullah pernah ditanya: Apakah amalan yang paling terbaik? Baginda menjawab: “Iman kepada ALLAH dan RasulNya.”, riwayat Bukhari. Ini kerana amalan-amalan soleh tidak akan diterima sama sekali oleh ALLAH tanpa beriman kepada ALLAH dan RasulNya.Imam Ghazali pernah berkata: “Tidak sah ibadah seseorang itu kecuali selepas dia mengenal Tuhan yang berhak di sembah.” Ini bererti bahawa sesiapa yang bukan hanya tidak mengenal ALLAH bahkan menyamakan dan menyerupakan ALLAH dengan makhlukNya seperti mengatakan ALLAH itu adalah cahaya lampu atau mengatakan ALLAH duduk di atas arash atau mengatakan salah-satu sifatNya adalah sama seperti makhluk maka orang yang sebegini dia telah menyembah sesuatu yang dia khayal maka di kira musyrik.Diriwayat oleh Ibnu Majah bahawa seorang sahabat Jundub Bin Abdullah telah menyatakan, “Ketika kami kecil, kami mempelajari keimanan dahulu sebelum mempelajari Al-Quran, kemudian kami baru mempelajari Al-Quran maka bertambahlah iman kami.”Imam Baihaqi dalam Manaqib Assyafie meriwayatkan dari Imam Syafie bahawa telah mengatakan: “Kami mendahului ilmu tauhid dahulu sebelum ilmu fekah”.Berkata pula Imam Abu Hanifah: “Ketahuilah sesungguhnya mendalami ilmu tauhid lebih afdhal dari mendalami ilmu hukum-hakam.” Ini tidak bermakna ilmu hukum-hakam tidak perlu dipelajari akan tetapi kata-kata Imam Abu Hanifah menerangkan bahawa ilmu tauhid teramatlah penting.Telah berkata imam kita Imam Abu Hasan Al-Ash’ary: “Perkara pertama wajib dipelajari oleh seorang hamba itu adalah ilmu mengenal ALLAH, Rasul dan AgamaNya.

Ce 17 avril 2010, deux femmes recouvertes d’un voile intégral de la tête aux pieds déambulaient sur le marché de Pauillac, en Gironde, à la grande surprise des habitants. Sur leur poitrine, une pancarte : « Si vous ne voulez pas finir comme moi… Rejoignez les Identitaires ! » Sous la burqa, une militante et… un militant du Bloc identitaire Aquitaine !
Tous deux étaient accompagnés d’une quinzaine de militants qui distribuaient des tracts clamant, au recto, « Immigration – Islamisation – Invasion, Pauillac, c’est pas le bled ! Nos vignobles, c’est pas le djebel ! Le Médoc, c’est pas le Maghreb ! » et expliquant, au verso, les méfaits de l’immigration, tant pour les Français que pour les immigrés. Car, comme l’a écrit la philosophe Simone Weil : « Le déracinement est une maladie mortelle. » D’où la proposition des Identitaires de « mettre en place de véritables projets ethno-centrés afin de favoriser la bonne santé économique et sociale des pays victimes d’émigration » et inciter les immigrés « à rentrer dans leur pays afin d’y faire fructifier leur expérience acquise ici ».
Et les burqas ? Un moyen très visuel de montrer que l’islam, qui est aussi une loi civile, est décidément incompatible avec notre civilisation.
Pourquoi une telle action à Pauillac ? Parce que cette cité, connue dans le monde entier pour ses vignobles, n’est pas conforme à l’image qu’on en a, de loin. La concentration d’immigrés ou de « jeunes » issus de l’immigration est importante. Ce qui a entraîné l’apparition d’un produit qui n’est pas vraiment du cru : le kebab. Et le développement de la pratique de la foi musulmane.

সূরা দাহরে ইরশাদ হয়েছে – ‘আর তাদের রব তাদের খুবই পবিত্র পানীয় পান করাবেন।’সূরা দাহর:২১ (এ দুনিয়াতে) প্রকাশ পায় যা একটি নখে উঠিয়ে নেয়া যায়, তাহলে আসমান এবং জমিনের যা কিছু আছে তার সবকিছুই আলোকিত হয়ে যাবে। আর যদি জান্নাতীদের একজন (দুনিয়ার দিকে) ঝুঁকে দেখে, যার ফলে তার কংকণ প্রকাশ হয়ে যায়, তাহলে সূর্য এমন আলোহীন হয়ে যাবে যেমন সূর্যের কারণে তারকাগুলো আলোহীন হয়ে যায়। @ www.al-jannatbd.com
