Invader (born 1969) is a French urban artist who pastes up characters from and inspired by the Space Invaders game, made up of small coloured square mosaic tiles that form a space invader character murel. He does this in cities across the world, then documents this as an "Invasion", with books and maps of where to find each invader. This is one of his works, seen in London, England.

tile mosaic street art by french artist invader, who decorates towns and cities around the world with his trademark space invaders (and some other video game elements). these ones were put up in newcastle, england around 2006 some were put up at the time of his contribution to an exhibition at the baltic art gallery. he was arrested at one stage whilst being caught installing one but continued the work following his release.
