Nederland, Noord-Brabant, Den Bosch, 09-05-2013; zicht op werkzaamheden aan de Zuid-Willemsvaart in zuidelijke richting. Rechts in beeld kantorenpark Barbantpoort en links tuincentrum Intratuin in Rosmalen.
Begin van het nieuwe kanaal bij Gewande, ten Oosten van Empel. Het kanaal wordt verbreed, uitgegraven en omgelegd - zodat de binnenstad van Den Bosch vermeden kan worden. Het gaat niet alleen om een omlegging, maar ook om een opwaardering zodat grote schepen van het kanaal gebruik kunnen blijven maken.
