Taken at HPC photowalk in March, rediscovered today...

Embraer EMB 550 Legacy 500 arrived in from Paris Le Bourget last night.

Hugging the foot hills of the Rocky Mountains a southerly moving HPC or high precipitation cell dumps pea size hail and heavy rain in Arvada, Lakewood, and Golden. A BNSF northbound manifest slowly rolls around the tangent at Westminster, Colorado along the picturesque Front Range Subdivision the old Colorado & Southern. Severe storms not only favor the High Plains but also near and in the foothills. .

I don't do many portrait shots, but I like how this one turned out. It's great to sit back on a bench while the kids play at the splash pad. It was a very sunny day, but for a moment the sun went behind a cloud to give me more softness on the face. I didn't do much to this. I liked it the way it was.

The famed tree of HPC. Every member, who visits this place has to shoot this amazingly branched tree. No photo walk is complete without this tree.
