Yellowstone's Norris Geyser Basin is the hottest spot in the park, closest to the hot magma not far below. Pictured here is the Colloidal Pool in the Porcelain Basin of this large geothermal wonder.
Quite the memorable experience walking thru here with all the geysers, boiling pools and fumaroles belching sulphuric steam. I found it a bit eerie, yet can't wait to return.....

Captured in February 2020, I was never really happy with the ugly bollard being in the way in this frame. The juxtaposition did tickle my amusement enough to keep the shot and I hope that you like it too. Wishing you all a fantastic weekend of photography.

There is a hot stream that flows from the Imperial Geyser at Yellowstone. Since the source of the stream is the geyser, the water is quite warm and steamy. Kind of surreal. See the photo in the first comment for context.
Found this old truck resting in a barn, Grassy Cove, Tn.
The hot wires prevent the cows on the farm from disturbing the old Chevy. HTT!
