my mom used to drive me to the hallmark on butterfield road in wheaton, illinois (i think it's still there!) on a weekly basis to browse the hello kitty section. i admit i got angry a few years ago when hello kitty made a huge comeback. i'm over it now.

I've been unhappy with my macro lately. Lots of macro has been too dark, and the flash is too powerful. I figured the perfect fix would be a small pocket flashlight. At Target the maglite was $6, plus it used AAA batteries. The only AA battery flashlight was this Hello Kitty flashlight, and it was only $3.
I'm beginning to regret that decision to go cheap. The light isn't very strong, and I can't change the beam width.
Oh, and I look like a total idiot when I whip it out while hunched over the street.
