The world was on fire and no one could save me but you
It's strange what desire will make foolish people do
I never dreamed that I'd meet somebody like you
And I never dreamed that I'd lose somebody like you
No, I don't wanna fall in love (this world is only gonna break your heart)
No, I don't wanna fall in love (this world is only gonna break your heart)
With you
With you
(This world is only gonna break your heart)
What a wicked game you play, to make me feel this way
What a wicked thing to do, to let me dream of you
What a wicked thing to say, you never felt this way
What a wicked thing to do, to make me dream of you
And I don't wanna fall in love (this world is only gonna break your heart)

I admit that I had planned another kind of photo of my chess pieces but it seems that my cat didn't like the setup. He jumped onto the chess board, chess pieces were flying all over the place and he was obviously very pleased with himself. I gave up and took a photo of the "slightly" modified scene. Cats always win ...

This week we enjoy cloudy skies and moderate temperatures around 20C. The heavy rainfalls last week have created an explosion in nature, everything is green again. Perfect conditions for midweek-hiking today along River Weser near Porta Westfalica, Ostwestfalen, Germany

Beautiful Autumn start that seems like Summer; it seems like it, but it's not!
Bellissimo inizio d'Autunno che sembra Estate; sembra, ma non lo è!
"Have you ever played with a queen?
I can show you what I mean
I can make you feel free
I got you and you'll never leave
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na
Can you meet me on my level?
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na
Or baby, is your reign over?
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na
Can you battle with the devil?
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na
Or baby, is it game over?
Game over"

"A finite game is played for the purpose of winning, an infinite game for the purpose of continuing the play.
It's not about winning or loosing, It's about to keep the game going."
Kevin Kelly
"Un jeu fini est joué dans le but de gagner, un jeu infini dans le but de continuer le jeu. Il ne s’agit pas de gagner ou de perdre, mais de continuer à jouer. »
KUBB is a game where precision and strategy play a major role. 2 teams (maximum 6 players per team) play against each other, and the goal is to knock over all of the other team's blocks (Kubbs). Once that is done, you may aim at the king in the middle of the playing field. The most important concepts are precision, concentration, but certainly also team spirit! Ideal to play with friends or family, e.g. in the park.
