On one of the corners of Cambridge Circus there was (is?) a pub where you could sit at an open window on first floor drinking your beer while taking photos. It doesn't get much better than that :-)
I couldn't make up my mind, so I posted 5 versions of this night panorama. But then I also made an animated version of the them combined. See the animated gif in my comment below...
I created this from 29 frames. It begins with empty riverfront scene with a canoe in far background making its way to the site. Subsequent photos show setting places, people arriving, mingling, getting people set, and finally ending with frame you see above.
To view the gif animation of this, you will need to click the ALL SIZES link above. While this is only 500 x 375 resolution, it is still a 3 meg file and will frustrate most dialup users. (Just letting you know.)
