This is one of my favorite pictures that I made, so I don't understand why I didn't post it yet. In fact I have not posted a picture since December 2020. I seem to have been in a bit of a funk last year. Doing better now so prepare for a picture dump lol.

Sunset at Barangaroo, Darling Harbour.
Photographed from my ferry - the 'Friendship' - as it travelled across the harbour from Luna Park, via Balmain East Wharf, and then to the King Street Wharf No. 1.
The sky turned orange, then pink, and then mauve.

Impromptu street portrait from Glasgow, Scotland. A busker in a three piece band that was absolutely shredding the funk with his bassist and drummer, who frankly rocked too! Enjoyed the tunes for some time, donated some loose change and captured this when they were not expecting me to. I managed to pull out the reflection in processing to give the city context to the image, enjoy!

when i was in 4th grade music class, the teacher put out instruments,
asking us to pick the one we wanted to learn to play.
i picked up a trumpet and blew baby, with all my mighty tight might.
hell no, no shy skinny little white girl on a horn like that!
the teacher told me i could learn the piano.
alright. but it had to be an organ. i wanted to play jazz organ.
hell no, they wouldn't teach me a thing then.
