Two similar signs, one in Freiburg at the restaurant "Storchen", the other in Colmar. Despite the different countries and languages, there's a lot of joint history. Nonetheless, there are differences that immediately let you recognize which shot is from Germany and which from France.

A partial view of the so called "Covered Bridges" (les Ponts Couverts" and two of their watch towers within the historic city centre of Strasbourg, known as Petite France (for not too honorous a reason).
The calanques (fjord-like bays) in the Cassis are particularly spectacular. Frequently a fog moves from the sea towards the mainland. Together with the sunlight in the late afternoon it is a spectacular scenery. Cassis, France.
Èze, France a short trip from Nice. A walk up the equestrian staircase in the medieval village of Èze, France. These stairs are made to make it easier for horses and mules to navigate. It's situated on a hilltop like many of the medieval villages. A great place to spend the day. It is one of many medieval villages by Nice, France.
Escaliers équestres dans le village médiéval de Èze, France. Ces escaliers sont faits pour faciliter le passage des chevaux et des mulets. Ils ne peuvent pas voir leurs pieds. Il leur est difficile de descendre les escaliers. Un super endroit pour passer la journée et non loin de Nice.
