Wrister's Fall Challenge

I've been working on making the perfect bath puff, and I think maybe I've got it now.

Here's the free pattern: handmadebyannabelle.blogspot.com/2010/03/crochet-pattern-...

This one was made with 100% acrylic yarn, but as you can see from my blog, I've tried many different yarns.

Shimmery Hearts Scarf Crochet Along-

The Crochet Crowd challenge gave me the courage to try the scarf first. Seeing everyone's scarves on FB was just the boost to make me dare one. I liked doing it so much, that even as a newbie, I managed to make a matching hat .

I put all my new skills together, including the reverse double crochet stitch on the topof the brown brim..

I used Red Heart's Frosty Green Fleck, because that is what I planned to make a scarf with for my daughters birthday, Feb. 17th. The timing for this could not have better! Thank you again, all of you, at Crochet Crowd. I have learned so much since Christmas when someone gave me odds and ends yarn!
