La stupenda spiaggia di Porto Giunco si trova a sud-ovest dell’abitato di Villasimius e a nord del Capo Carbonara. L’arenile, oltre per la sua innegabile bellezza, spicca per 3 fattori : la presenza del vicino stagno di Notteri (dove fra l’altro si trovano i fenicotteri), della seicentesca torre (da cui è possibile godere di uno scorcio magnifico del sottostante binomio spiaggia-stagno) e di un sistema dunale ben curato.
Il mare ha un modo tutto suo di brontolare, e si riconosce subito al gorgogliare che fa tra quegli scogli nei quali si rompe, e par la voce di un amico.

A timely heads up from First Light allowed for a shot of this FRA inspection train rolling south on Steelton Hill. The car was next due at BNSF in Superior. It was nice CN had new 3119 leading, which helped brighten an otherwise cloudy afternoon.
A great day in Snowdonia's Carneddau mountain range with Becky. We started out from the small car park overlooking Aber Falls in Abergwyngregyn just off the A55 and walked over Drum and onto a very windy Foel Fras. Foel Fras is the 11th highest mountain in Wales apparently! The image has signs that this wasn't taken during a heatwave.

A very nice day in mid March. The fjord was so calm, I think the reflections got rather good. Taken from a rather ugly floating pier, a good thing you can't see that!!
