This juvenile Burrowing Owl gave me the evil eye when I photographed him. I wasn’t that close but he didn’t want to be photographed that early morning on Marco Island.

The Evil Eye means that someone with negative thoughts or an envious look can harm another. This is often done intentionally, but not always! Unconscious, envious thoughts can also harm someone through evil looks. The nazar amulet is said to protect you from harmful looks from others.

I thought I would try something different this time around, I can't remember exactly what I did, but it involved using distortion tools in PS.

A classic case of Pareidolia, I see the face of a mad bearded pirate (although Niqui sees an Evil Christmas Elf) hidden in the wood grain of a piece of laminate flooring in the hallway ... ha-harrr me hearties!!
