I wanted to an old style TV drama that take so many shapes, something with tension, emotional stakes, and with a dark unfolding plot
It is thought to have been first built circa 1627 as this date is carved on part of the framework. This is the earliest date to be found on any windmill in the British Isles. It should be remembered that such a structure would have had to have frequent repairs made to it, so the mill may predate 1627. It was dendrochronologically dated in 2004 by Dr. Martin Bridge of the Oxford Dendrochronology Laboratory when the oldest pieces in the buck were found to be from trees felled in winter 1595/96 and spring 1597. The 'new' crown tree was made from a tree that felled in spring 1670, while the quarter bars of the trestle were from trees felled between 1824 and 1826, so like most mills, it is a mix of old timbers variously recycled or hanging on from their original use.
For nearly three hundred years grain grown in the two adjoining villages was ground at the mill into flour. In 1874 the mill was bought by Adelbert Wellington Brownlow Cust, 3rd Earl Brownlow who owned the nearby Ashridge Estate. He subsequently left it to a local farmer, who ran a successful milling business from the mill.
In 1902 the mill was seriously damaged during an enormous gale, damaging it beyond the price of economic repair. Around 1922 the derelict ruined mill was bought from the Ashridge Estate by a farmer whose land was close to the mill. In 1937 he donated it to the National Trust. However, it was not until 1963 that a band of volunteers began to carry out renovations at their own expense. The mill appeared in an episode of The Champions titled The Invisible Man which was filmed in 1967.[2] In 1970, after an interlude of 68 years, the mill once again ground corn.
Today one of the summit craters of Etna, the Voragine, is producing a very strong degassation. This view is from the terrace of my home in Paternó.

Hi Folks,
Hurray, today is my Birthday again. Isn’t it wonderful that Teddy Bears celebrate their Birthday every year? Mine is always at the end of September. SHE sent me some flowers from her garden in Germany plus a huge bucket of Birthday Honey together with the sweetest honeycombs. Best is, this time I do not have to share it with the family. This lovely birthday card came from my mum who has not forgotten me (how could I be forgotten ?). This afternoon we’ll celebrate a Teddy Bear Birthday Party (TBBP) with the family and all my friends. Let’s hope that nobody will forget a little present for me, and that the sun will be shining and we can have our party outside in our Wild Garden. SHE phoned me this early morning and mentioned this terrible ‘hibernation’ again which willl be due very soon. That’s why we’ve planned a little tour this afternoon with this wonderful Bear Rover. When SHE’ll be back, I was promised a movie session on the sofa, cuddling with HER and enjoying lots of honey. That will be like Birthday, Christmas and Easter on one day. However, and especially on my Birthday, I am missing HER desperately. Hope she comes back soon and before we have to start our hibernation

abstract optical materialism macropaintograph with household materials
Camera: Pentax K-50 16 Mpixel Digital SLR + Carl Zeiss Jenna 2.8/ 50mm via extension tube
513 on the Milwaukee Road heading out of Cedar Rapids I believe this was a CRCB. Unfortunately this stretch of Milwaukee Road is some of the only Iowa trackage where the 513 isn't on home rails, although I'll get over it. Certainly was a nice catch on the way home from chasing branch lines across Iowa for a week.
I don't think we will have anymore opportunities to capture ice and icicles this spring. Not the greatest season to capture frozen puddles unfortunately because of several snow falls this spring. Hopefully next fall.
These 2 pictures remind me of some of the most terrifying Dr Who episodes, even more terrifying than the Daleks…
I haven't posted a new custom in a while, so I'm glad I had the time to make this! This template took a while to get looking right, and I finally got it to a point where I'm satisfied with the way it looks. My next upcoming customs will be this clone in blue, red, green, and yellow variants, so look out for those! Be sure to view on large to see the details! So this Diorama spawned because of the last one I built. This was done simply because I felt the tiny diorama needed a friend. I had so much fun building the tank, I'm very proud of it! I actually totally forgot to put an Aayla Secura Figure in this Diorama (I currently have one on the way that I just bought, so it'll be here real soon and I'll post an updated photo of the MOC with her in it)
The tree design on this MOC was very different for me, used a lot of SNOT and Mixel Joints and I think the design is really cool, it needs to be played with more but I figured I'd test it in this built and expand on things later :)
Next up is another Bionicle, then another Clone Wars MOC, Just the one though, there won't be 'Five' of them, but they will 'Echo' some of my favourite episodes (WINK WINK)
