A gravity driven prototype that involves a closed system of two flexible containers of water. Elevating or lowering the green pack will change the level of water in the blue pack. This changes the thickness of the layer of water insulation between the ice pack and your skin (allowing for some degree of temperature control).

*Air might be too strong of an insulator. We decided to experiment with water in this prototype because water is less thermally conductive/less effective as an insulator potentially allowing for a wider range of temperature control.
