This girl was made with lots of love and care, like all my other girls of course! but her mom wanted a very sweet, very delicate girly girl. She got the usual work plus a cute haircut, her hair was down to her ankles! She inspires nothing but sweetness, doesn't she? Eyechips were sent by her mom. Hope you like her! she will living in Canada where I hope she makes her new mommy very happy!
Custom repainted McFarlane Predator 2 figure (2002ish?), spear courtesy of NECA's City Hunter Predator figure (2011). Inspired by the Lava Planet Predator from Kenner's 1990's Predator toyline.
I tried to customize her like my Freya but I must admit that this smaller size was a bit of a challenge. I need tinier paint brushes! I think she is wonderful but she doesn't have the same eye supports as the big Freya. I positioned the eye stems between the elastic cord inside her head. I am not sure if that is the way they are supposed to be set but it makes the eyes quite difficult to position. They don't stay where I try to put them and she ends up looking strange. :/
Paring knife from a Chicago Cutlery set. The original comes with a black plastic handle. After I removed the original handle, I customized it with a stabilized Amboynia Burl purchased from www.stabilizedwood.com/ and Green Malachite (reconstituted stone) and a brass spacer secured with stainless steel cutlery rivets purchased from www.knifemaking.com/
Rochelle Goyle, as repainted by the amazingly talented nonaptime. I cannot express how much I am pleased.
No one has been as patient for so long as my custom #27. This girl has been waiting for her eye chips and body for week! Her mom's name unexpectedly moved up fast on my list so we both had to wait for her puppelina eye chips and Pure Neemo body. I think the wait was worth it! Her base doll is one of my favorite Takara Blythe releases: "Baby's Breath" RBL mold, so I thought it was fitting to give her Baby's Breath flowers on her eyelids. She got the usual work plus a cute chin. She will be traveling to Canada! Hope you love her! <3
