This is the main shot I had planned from my Dublin trip. i have so many versions of it because I could not decide what looked best. Darker, lighter, wider or taller, finally I chose this one.
I was lucky to be able to get this as when I walked down to my planned location I found where I needed to stand to be in the middle of a fenced off builders compound. After much swearing I hatched a plan to arrive at 4am ish and break into the compound. this shot is the result of a bit of trespassing.
The bridge was designed to represent an Irish Harp, the building in the background is the convention centre
Taking over the Tom's Cove resting area often used by bald eagles or ospreys. The tall structure in the background is NASA's Wallops Island rocket launch pad. Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge, Assateague Island, Virginia.

The Consititutional Convention delegates met here during the Summer of 1787. What the delegates to that convention did, and the document they forged through months of arguing, listening, deliberating, and compromising changed the world.
Now the building may seem rather small compared to the surroundings....to me however, it is very grand indeed.
At the time of the convention, it was the Pennsylvania State House, only later becoming known as Independence Hall.

i found this in my hotel room in denver and i have never seen white m&m's before. we are here to cover the democratic national convention. note that for security reasons apples aren't allowed in the press centre. they might be used as weapons. you can get away with bananas though.
