Tirau is a small rural Waikato town of 800 residents, North Island, New Zealand. Previously known only for a major highway junction, then as the closest town to the Hobbiton Movie Set and lately as the Corrugated Capital of the World. Tirau boasts a number of buildings, sculptures and other art works constructed of corrugated iron. The Merino Story is a wool clothing brand with many stores in New Zealand. The store in Tirau consists of a ram and sheep building constructed of corrugated iron. The public toilets are a building in the shape of a sheep dog.
I love cold air, fresh air. I love the wind in my face. I love clouds scooting across the sky. I love to be outdoors and in the wilds.
It's summer now, but actually I hanker for winter. It may not be as colourful but I'm sure it's more interesting. I tried to cool down this mid summer shot to make it look more wintry, when being outdoors in the wilds gives me a rush. By the next winter I should well and truly be in the wilds. In long dark days I will find a mood to suit.
Does anybody have the word "Snowdonia" printed on any gear or clothing? It seems you are not allowed to have "Snowdonia" printed on your T-shirt because the name has been registered by JD Williams, the Manchester based company that slapped a cease and desist order on Eryri Eco Clothing which is based in Snowdonia. Eryri tried to register the name "Eryri" (Welsh for Snowdonia) but was told it could not because it is a place name, but at the same time was told it could not use the name "Snowdonia" because JD Williams have trademarked it. Doesn't this sort of stupidity in the world make your blood boil???? Too many lawyers stink.

The history of the successful clothing brand Gant goes back a century. After the First World War, the Par-Ex Shirt Company was founded by the Jewish immigrant Bernard Gantmacher. The Gant label was introduced in New Haven, Connecticut in 1949 and is now one of the leading names worldwide when it comes to modern, high-quality leisure clothing.
Finally found the ruins of the old Carharrt mansion on a hillside overlooking the Catawba River. This is all that remains of the home of the Carharrt family who started the clothing brand so well known today. Dunmore House is a large Victorian Italianate residence built in 1885 by Sir William McMillan, Treasurer to Henry Parkes and an important figure in the Federation of Australia. The house was also inhabited by Edward Pearce (former Mayor of Parramatta, 1900-1904) and George A. Bond (founder of Bonds clothing brand), prior to its use as a boys’ home and orphanage (1934-1980), and from that time, as an aged care facility.

View from Overbecks House, former home of Otto Overbeck the inventor and scientist. The house and subtropical garden are well worth a visit, but the road up to them is narrow and steep with no passing places, leading to fraught tempers in high season. Salcombe is a delightful village with some connection to the Normandy Landings. It is also the home of Jack Wills the renowned clothing brand. 2015 shot revised with LR. Critique: I should have used a larger depth of field to get better focus on the distant village. In the rework I have exaggerated the parameters of the village area to make it look like a painting, so the foreground is natural and the background, hopefully, looks like a painted picture.

The redevelopment of the old port of Doha to install a cruise terminal has created a new neighborhood called MINA DISTRICT. The 4 colors that they have chosen for the buildings curiously coincide with the colors of the logo of the clothing brand Cló Sunlight Apparel (the clothing brand predates the new neighborhood).

In 1966, the clothing brand Mah-Jong was founded by Helena Henschen, Veronica Nygren and Kristina Torsson. The purpose was to create beautiful clothes for ordinary people, with bold colour combinations in timeless patterns. All production took place in Sweden.
The game Mah-Jong gave name to the collection since the garments could be combined in different ways, just like the tiles in the game.

Street photo session with spanish actress and model Veki Melilla for the clothing brand Nine Clothing. A great model but a better actress, really easy working with her. She is working hard on several TV series and becoming a really excellent actress.
The story for this picture comes from my real life. A few years ago, my favorite clothing brand Bushman, announced a quick contest. The task was to capture a zebra! As photographer, I so much wanted to enter the competition, but it was too late to visit a zoo. I was so desperate that I went out to the city, photographed a zebra crossing and sent it as a joke with a comment saying: "I wish I met some zebras here on this zebra crossing to be able to capture them for the competition". Well, I didn't win first prize, however they loved my creativity so much that I got a consolation prize - a small metal mug :D :D :D

Being both an outdoor clothing brand and the North Face of many mountains being their most formidable challenge, I thought it was an apt title for this scowling look. Baleno Holdings Limited, a Hong Kong clothing brand which is one of the most successful fashion brands in China was formed in 1996. In Baleno shop they sell S&K products as well. Samuel & Kevin was also established in Hong Kong in the late 1990s. The quality of S&K is acceptable considering its reasonable price. It’s my firm conviction that Chinese are talented in reverse engineering and controlling the costs. On the right side you can see a Jeanswest shop. Jeanswest is an Australian apparel chain store owned by Glorious Sun, operating in the market of casual clothes. The first Jeans West store opened in Australia in 1972, and now the company has expanded to the Middle East.

On Passeig de Gràcia 11 , in the Dreta de l'Eixample, the Generali building houses the largest H&M clothing brand store in Spain. Before, the imposing block fulfilled several functions. Built between 1946 and 1949 under the supervision of the architect Lluís Bonet Garí, it consists of 16 floors. "The plans for this building, whose style is influenced by the Chicago School, date back to 1935, but the civil war stopped the construction," recalls historian Ricard Fernández Valentí. The Count of Gamazo invested in its construction as the new headquarters of the Life Bank, in January 1950, on the site previously occupied by the Palacio de Samá. The building wanted to convey the idea of prestige and security: the walls are double brick and the facade is adorned with Montjuïc stone statues. "The wonderful golden metallic doors are signed by Biosca i Botey", continues Fernández. In addition to the Life Bank, the building had spaces on the ground floor for 22 stores, show rooms and a cinema, all related to each other thanks to the Galería Condal . Fernández remembers that the press of the time spoke of the rooms of the building as some of the most prestigious in Barcelona.
Since 2009, the building belongs to the Generali Group.
