Last Sunday we visited the Werburg in Spenge, an old castle complex from the 16th century. The location has the atmosphere of a story book, today there is even a registry office inside to celebrate weddings in a ferrytale atmosphere. Ostwestfalen, Germany

A story is only good if it’s made up
but convinces you it’s true.
Even better if one of the characters
is someone who could be you.
How else do you know who you are?

“That’s the magic of literature. We read a story, and something happens. We don’t know what or why, nor which sentence was responsible, but the world has changed and will never be the same again. Sometimes it take us several years to realize that a book tore a hole in reality through which we could escape from the pettiness and despondency of our surroundings” ~ The Book of Dreams
Bella inspected another book about cats while waiting for me to prepare breakfast instead of taking photos.
Happy Caturday.

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shakespeare_and_Company_(bookstore) Such a fun spot to visit in Paris! This little bookstore is famous and has quite an interesting history. If you are a poor but aspiring writer, you might find a place to sleep among the bookshelves in exchange for working there! The shop's motto, "Be Not Inhospitable to Strangers Lest They Be Angels in Disguise," is written above the entrance to the reading library.
Hello amazing Flickr people!!
Today is a black & white day at Color My World Daily. And Saturday is for post processed to the max pictures at Sliders Sunday Group.
I must admit that sometimes I would love the change my pictures a little bit… not that I dislike all the colors, challenges and playful settings. So, I will continue to take pictures in my “old” style. But, once in while I will post something different. I’m absolutely addicted to still life photography so this will not change
And since today is processed to the max day, here we go. I was wondering if you usually stuck with the same style of pictures on your photostream or do you just post your pictures regardless of the style? I saw that some people have several photostreams (one photostream for black and white and another one for color) is that something you do?

Ordered a new paper photo book, with all photos made by me for Macro Mondays, downloaded from my digital flickr album (Macro mondays). It has become very colorful with pleasant memories of the many hours of entertainment. The theme "book" came just in time.
she can be read like a book.

Secretary is working semi-seriously on a rather crazy project: his first book.
The photographs in “writing on the wall” are partly in color and partly in black and white. They were partly taken with reasonably modern cameras, partly with various older analog models.
Professionally designed by Secretary's daughter, he has now had two sample copies produced by a manufacturer of high-quality photo books - simply to hold it in his hand and get a feel for how it might look. Very tentatively, he is now starting to look for possible publishers.
Here you can see Pedro taking a very first look. He finds it quite intersting.
