I have never seen pink pine cones. I suppose this is their color when newly formed. I did some research and found out this is a blue spruce and soon these pinecones will turn to a bluish/gray color. I will keep you posted!

What a day it was for me Yesterday, getting up 2 am then going to work, coming home and plowing the driveway, 8 hours straight non stop, Thanking the Lord for the strength he has given me.

We have been having wonderful weather so far,

Who says trees in December aren’t colourful?

Blue spruce budding out new growth. The 'blue' color results from a blue gray waxy substance that is quite visible in varying degrees. Helicon FB and Helicon Focus used to create and process stack of 29 images, of which 12 were actually used.
