minutes before sunrise, the light and its interpretation, by today's
cameras, give us, somewhat, bizarre results.
At Madeira's eastern tip, the dry, windswept basalt Ponta de São Lourenço juts out into the Atlantic Ocean. The island's dramatic, varied terrain results in a rich, complex wine with a history steeped in history.

Very strange looking tree, a must return when conditions are better (mist)
I don't know the name of the blossom. It's wide is about 2-3 cm.
Happy Macro Monday to all flickr friends, HMM
STILL STUCK in this weird place without a way to download images from my camera or to edit them. I'm lucky to be able to follow your work but it takes ten times the amount of time on a tablet that has a mind of its own.
Flickr has recommended my group. Please check out the Little Select Gallery of Eclectic Visual Poetry
Thank you

I'm not sure what this could mean
I don't think you're what you seem
I do admit to myself that if I hurt someone else
Then I'll never see just what we're meant to be
Every time I see you falling
I get down on my knees and pray
I'm waiting for that final moment
You say the words that I can't say

Mulino Val , Forno Canavese (TO), Piemonte, Italia
This is a side shot of that same flower I Macro-shot at the Britzer Garten ten days or so ago. Isn't it weird?! And yet, truly enticing. Not only is Mother Nature (Mother Gaia) the true artist but she is also a magician at times! I mean how magical and sublime does this look. Oh and if someone could identify this flower I would be really grateful! :)
Is everyone surviving these heat waves, got to 35 degrees in Berlin today, urgh!
I appreciate all the comments, faves and follows and so as always, thank you! :)

Yesterday I had a bit of a "me" day. I went to the hairdressers and had my somewhat frizzy hair cut and straightened (it took ages).
I even sat in the garden. It was calm without any wind and balmy! The sky was looking quite promising so I popped down to Barton for sunset expecting to stand on the beach taking calm long exposures.
Except when I got there someone had obviously pissed the sea off. It wasn't a full on storm but the waves were roaring, foaming and frothing bashing against the rocks. Standing on the beach was out of the question.
It was quite weird shooting the sea like that with absolutely no wind. My hair still looked immaculate when I got home.
Quite bizarre. Obviously a storm further out causing some kind of delayed swell.
