I had the chance to quickly visit Aoi-Ike and know that I must come back....

Oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh

I'm the breeze that brings you the ocean

Know I'm not far

Oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh

I'm the wind that guides all your motion

And once it's your turn

I'll be on the other side

The morning fog together with the rising sun over the forests of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains send me a message in the form of a bar code.

To my great regret, I am unable to decipher this code and so I can only stand there in awe at the sight and guess what the message could possibly mean.

It could be a simple "Good morning hiker" or a call for help (since there was a severe fire in the area recently, that would not be so improbable).

But maybe it was just an invitation to stop and really see. To see and feel the wonders that surround us every day. Appreciating them and preserving them and showing them to other people.

If that was the case, then I understood the assignment and gladly accepted it.

The Chateau Lake Louise Lakeview Bar stands out as a rather nice place to have a cup of coffee, cocktail, beer or other favorite drink. Wonderful place to hang out after enjoying the many hikes that are around this beloved lake.

Hope you're all doing well during this challenging time. We're doing good here. Be well.

I saw this Bar-tailed godwit near my house on the beach near the Zuidpier, Velsen. It was the first time I saw it, very special! I was very low near the ground to make this photo. Wet shoes, wet feet and wet knees.... But it was worth it!

(Anser indicus) The bar-headed goose is a goose that breeds in Central Asia in colonies of thousands near mountain lakes and winters in South Asia, as far south as peninsular India. The bar-headed goose is one of the world's highest-flying birds often seen at heights of over 28,000ft. The birds seen in the UK are thought to be descendants of escapees from collections and this small breeding colony of geese is well established at Grange over Sands in Cumbria.

A sine bar consists of a hardened, precision ground body with two precision ground cylinders fixed at the ends. The distance between the centers of the cylinders is precisely controlled, and the top of the bar is parallel to a line through the centers of the two rollers. The dimension between the two rollers is chosen to be a whole number (for ease of later calculations) and forms the hypotenuse of a triangle when in use.

When a sine bar is placed on a level surface the top edge will be parallel to that surface. If one roller is raised by a known distance, usually using gauge blocks, then the top edge of the bar will be tilted by the same amount forming an angle that may be calculated by the application of the sine rule.
