Bacon's Castle, also variously known as "Allen's Brick House" or the "Arthur Allen House" is located in Surry County, Virginia, United States, and is the oldest documented brick dwelling in what is now the United States. Built in 1665, it is noted as an extremely rare example of Jacobean architecture in the New World.
The house became known as "Bacon's Castle" because it was occupied as a fort or "castle" by the followers of Nathaniel Bacon during Bacon's Rebellion in 1676. However, contrary to popular folklore, Bacon never lived at Bacon's Castle, nor is he even known to have visited it.
A shot from 2019 but one I never got round to posting at the time. Bacon Hole is a small bay tucked away next to Mupe Bay on the Purbeck coast in Dorset.
I took a photo of an egg commercial on the tv screen then did some Wombo magic on it and finished it in Befunky.
'Butterflied' little (240g) chicken breast brushed with a sauce of olive oil, Maggi sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, freshly ground black pepper, with pickled jalapeño slicess, tomato slices, folded and wrapped with rineless bacon and secured with toothpicks.
Broccolini lightly fried, with garlic slices, chilli flakes, then lightly steamed, with a splash of Maggi, water (¼ cup) salt, pepper and lemon juice.

Let me introduce you a new member of our family... Bacon! She is a mixed breed between an English Bulldog and an old English Bulldog.
After our French Bulldog died ( www.flickr.com/photos/marco18678/18083175899/in/dateposte... ) we waited for more then a half year before we decided to get another puppy. When we saw this nest we were sold :) ... She is a very playful and sweet dog
